Day 1 // Overnight Flight

An adventure of a lifetime awaits as your board your flight to New Zealand. We'll cross the International Date Line and skip a day ahead.

Day 3 // Christchurch, NZ

Welcome to Christchurch, romantically known as New Zealand's Garden City. Set against the majestic backdrops of the Southern Alps and Pacific Ocean, Christchurch is an ever-changing city buzzing with creativity and flair. Settle into your hotel and get to know your fellow travelers over a delicious welcome dinner.

Day 4 // Christchurch, NZ

We'll begin the day Punting on the Avon and experience a unique view of the city. Glide along the tranquil Avon River as a skilled punter in traditional Edwardian attire propels the vessel slowly along the water. Visit Willowbank Wildlife Reserve to learn about the conservation efforts dedicated to preserving the country's native wildlife, culture and nature. Look out for New Zealand's Big 5: the Kiwi, the Kea, the Tuatara, the Kaka and the
Takahe. In February 2011, a major earthquake destroyed large parts of Christchurch including the city's historic Neo-Gothic cathedral. This afternoon, we will visit the
Cardboard Cathedral which was built as a replacement.

Embark on a picturesque cruise across the lake to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Settled by Europeans in the 1860s, the historic homestead offers a stunning lakeside setting and fun activities. Enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch, watch the skillful farm dogs in action with a sheep-herding demonstration, and meet the other farm animals before the return cruise. You'll have some free time this afternoon to explore Queenstown.

Day 7 // Queenstown, NZ

Depart on a scenic cruise to Milford Sound, New Zealand's most well-known tourist destination. Home particularly unusual wildlife including fur seals and crested penguins, as well as bottlenose and dusky dolphins, this geographical gem is a must-see for nature lovers. Sheer rocky cliffs rise vertically out of the calm dark waters while the exquisite Bowen Falls plunge down a 520-foot drop before crashing dramatically into the fjord below. A picnic lunch is served onboard.
