
Tour Overview
Start the adventure with a visit to Sequoyah’s Cabin. Built in in 1829, visitors to this log cabin will experience firsthand Sequoyah’s efforts to increase literacy within the Cherokee Nation. Next, we’ll stop for lunch at Queen Wilhelmina Lodge. Finally, the Talimena National Scenic Byway is a breathtaking 54-mile route in southeast Oklahoma, and is known for its spectacular views. Built specifically to highlight the area’s beautiful foliage, we will cruise the road and take in the views.

Some tour days are longer than others but move at a consistent pace. Passengers should be able to easily climb a flight of stairs, stand for short periods of time and walk for reasonable distances, possibly over uneven terrain (cobblestones, gravel, etc).
