Itinerary

This unforgettable Alaskan experience is designed for the most adventurous travelers. Limited to a small group, this tour showcases Alaska’s wintertime diversity and astounding natural beauty, with opportunities to enhance the journey through optional excursions.

Day 1 // Fairbanks, AK

The adventure begins with a flight to Fairbanks, Alaska. Next, enjoy dinner with fellow travelers before venturing out this evening for the first opportunity to witness the iconic Northern Lights dancing across the Arctic sky.

Day 2 // Fairbanks, AK

We'll start the day with a city tour, getting our bearings as we explore the local landmarks and the unique history of the area. From there, we'll visit the Morris Thompson Cultural Center to immerse ourselves in the rich traditions and art of Alaska's Interior. Our journey continues as we head to the Museum of the North. Finally, as the sun stays down, we'll venture out for our second Northern Lights viewing opportunity, hoping to witness the aurora borealis shimmering above us once again.

Day 3 // Talkeetna, AK

Today, board the Alaska Railroad for a scenic journey from Fairbanks to Talkeetna, with opportunities to spot moose along the way and, on a clear day, catch a spectacular view of Denali above the Susitna River. The day continues with a visit to the Murie Science and Learning Center to explore the stories and science behind Denali.

Day 4 // Talkeetna, AK

Today, the day is yours to adventure. Spend free time exploring the town of Talkeetna, perhaps visit the Talkeetna Historical Society and Museum, or choose from a variety of optional excursions.

Day 5 // Anchorage, AK

Today, experience a one-of-a-kind tour at the Musk Ox Farm. View the arctic musk oxen, an Ice Age mammal that once roamed alongside sabre-toothed tigers and woolly mammoths, learning how they were able to withstand the harsh arctic extremes. Afterward, we'll visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center, where we'll explore the rich living cultures of Alaska's Indigenous peoples through traditional dwellings, art, and storytelling.

Day 6 // Anchorage, AK

This morning, visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to meet local animals and learn about rehabilitation efforts. We'll conclude our journey with a final dinner to toast our shared memories before spending our last night.

Day 7 // Home

The adventure through Alaska's winter beauty comes to an end with an overnight flight home. Take with you unforgettable memories of snow-covered landscapes, Arctic skies, and the remarkable experiences that defined this journey.
