Itinerary
Travel along the Illinois River Valley aboard the Celebration Belle, the Midwest's most entertaining riverboat. Featuring a relaxing day on the river, a visit to the charming town of Hannibal and more!
Day 1 // St. Louis, MO
Our journey begins with a driving day to the “Show Me” state. Check into our hotel for the evening and grab some rest before tomorrow's full day of adventure!
Day 2 // Moline, IL
Experience the story of the Mississippi River at the National Great Rivers Museum, which includes interesting interactive exhibits and a theater. After lunch, we will experience history with a visit to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum. With the immersive displays and shows, and the collection of family artifacts, we will truly feel like we've stepped into Lincoln's shoes. Sleep tight because this is our last night on land before our exciting river excursion begins.
Day 3 // Moline, IL
This morning, board the Celebration Belle, an authentic paddlewheel boat, where we'll be treated to live entertainment and storytelling. Look for wildlife and hear tales that bring the river's history to life. A delicious lunch and dinner are served aboard this breathtaking cruise on the mighty Mississippi river. Arrive at our lodging for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 4 // Hannibal, MO
Today, we will enjoy a one-of-a-kind Tour of Hannibal. Our guides bring 200+ years of history to life along the scenic drive. Hannibal is the hometown of Mark Twain; you'll see many significant sights related to his famed adventures. You'll also be able to catch scenic views of the Mississippi River, the Mississippi Islands, and the Iconic Hannibal Lighthouse. Spend a little bit of freetime exploring Hannibal on your own before we end the day with a tour of Mark Twain's Home & Museum.
