Day 1 // Seattle, WA

Our Canadian adventure begins with a flight to Seattle, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey through Western Canada.

Day 2 // Vancouver, Canada

Today, cross over the border into one of Canada's most bustling seaports, Vancouver. A local guide will join us for a Vancouver city tour. Surrounded by mountains, forests and the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver is one of the most picturesque cities in the world. Tonight, enjoy dinner and sample some delicious West Coast cuisine.

Day 3 // Vancouver, Canada

Embark on a scenic ferry ride through the Gulf Islands to British Columbia's capital city of Victoria. Explore the world famous Butchart Gardens and wander 55-acres of vivid floral displays and lush greenery. Spend some free time in Victoria's beautiful inner harbor, with time to view the Parliament buildings and the iconic Empress Hotel. Next we board the ferry and cruise leisurely through the beautiful islands of the Salish Sea to the mainland for a second night's stay in Vancouver.

Day 4 // Kamloops, Canada

In the Morning we depart on an unforgettable 2-day rail journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. The train heads inland through the lush Fraser River Valley. From the glass-dome coach, GoldLeaf Service car offers a premium experience with attentive service, a gourmet lunch in a private dining room, access to an exclusive outdoor viewing platform, and premium beverages. The train follows the Thompson River system and climbs to the desert-like interior plateau. Traveler Tip: Pack an overnight bag for Kamloops – checked luggage will travel on the motorcoach and meet you in Banff.

Day 5 // Banff, Canada

Back onboard the Rocky Mountaineer this morning. Travel along the banks of the Shuswap Lakes before entering three uniquely different and rugged mountain ranges and river valleys. Climb up through the historic Spiral Tunnels, emerging in the Province of Alberta and Banff National Park. Following the Bow River, the train enters the resort community of Banff, where the rail journey concludes.

Day 6 // Banff, Canada

Travel on one of the most scenic highways in the world – The Icefield Parkway. We journey through two majestic mountain passes on the way to the amazing Columbia Icefields. This afternoon, watch for wildlife including bears, moose and mountain goats as we retrace our route to Banff.

Day 7 // Calgary, Canada

A leisurely morning drive brings us to Lake Louise. You will have time to view the lake, Victoria Glacier, and Chateau Lake Louise. Board the fully enclosed gondolas for a smooth ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Return to Banff for some free time to explore the many charming shops and galleries. Say farewell to the Rocky Mountains as we pass by the majestic Three Sisters Peaks.
