The adventure continues through Maui's lush valleys, leisure-filled beach days, and authentic local experiences.
Day 1 // Honolulu, HI
Sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight to Hawaii—because once you land, Aloha! Your adventure begins on the sun-drenched beaches of Waikiki.
Day 2 // Honolulu, HI
This morning, enjoy a city tour of Honolulu and the National Cemetery of the Pacific. Then, reflect on history with a visit to the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, where you'll view artifacts from the attack and a short documentary on the 'Day of Infamy.' Travel by naval launch to view the white marble-clad USS Arizona Memorial, honoring those who lost their lives in the Pearl Harbor attack.
Day 3 // Honolulu, HI
Explore Hawaiian history with a visit to 'Iolani Palace to learn about the Hawaiian monarchs and the U.S. takeover of Hawaii. Enjoy free time for lunch, perhaps savoring a traditional Hawaiian plate lunch. Later, stop at the Pali Lookout in Oʻahu's rainforest before returning to Waikiki for an evening at leisure.
Day 4 // Kona, HI
We board our flight to the volcanic "Big Island" of Hawaii. Upon arrival, we pause to admire the iridescent mist of Rainbow Falls. Our journey continues with a tour of the South Coast, including a visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where we learn about Kilauea,
the world's most active volcano. We'll next take in the crystal-clear waters of Kealakekua Bay and stop at an iconic black sand beach, where we may be lucky enough to spot a green sea turtle basking in the afternoon sun.
Day 5 // Kona, HI
This morning, enjoy freetime to relax to look out over the Big Island's dramatic, rocky coastline. This afternoon, travel to the town of Kailua-Kona for free time to explore local shops and the surrounding area. Then return to the hotel for a lei-making class, learning about its cultural significance while creating your own to take home. This evening, savor a Hawaiian-style dinner at a traditional Polynesian luau.
Day 6 // Kona, HI
We begin the day at Bay View Farm, where coffee has been harvested since 1984. Tour the grounds with a local followed by a tasting of the region's famous brew. The journey continues to St. Benedict's Painted Church, before concluding with a visit to Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park.
Day 7 // Maui, HI
Board an inter-island flight to the “Valley Isle” of Maui, renowned as one of the most beautiful and popular outer islands in the archipelago. Visit the stunning Iao Valley. Our journey then takes us to the vibrant resort area of Ka'anapali.
Day 8 // Maui, HI
Spend a day at leisure to see for ourselves why locals say Maui nō ka ʻoi. Today choose to take an optional full-day cliff side drive on the legendary Road to Hana or simply relax at your leisure.
Day 9 // Honolulu, HI
Enjoy another day in paradise, taking the opportunity to swim at one of the many pristine beaches along the coast or visit a nearby local restaurant. After a day spent soaking in the beauty of Maui, we complete our wonderful trip with a festive farewell dinner.
