Travel to Amarillo, the perfect place to get a big taste of the lone star state. Begin with a visit to the restored 1887 Victorian-style Charles Goodnight home. Discover the legend of this remarkable pioneer of cattle ranching known as the “father of the Texas Panhandle.”
Day 2 // Amarillo, TX
This morning, take a glimpse into the history, cultures, fine arts and crafts of the Pueblo and Plains Indian people at the Kwahadi Kiva Indian Museum. Enjoy a hearty Texas-sized lunch at a local restaurant. Experience Bill's Backyard Classics where you will be taken back in time with the array of classic vehicles that span from the 1920's - 2012.
