Itinerary
Day 1 // Little Rock, AR
Our festive journey begins with a drive through Arkansas's scenic landscape, arriving in Little Rock for the night.
Day 2 // Columbus, MS
At the crossroads of Delta history and art, the Museum of the Mississippi Delta showcases an eclectic collection of agricultural artifacts, artwork and antiques. Visit the Columbus Wade Clock Museum, which showcases an extensive collection of clocks and watches dating as far back as the early 1700s! Stroll the charming shops and cafes of Columbus before a tour and dinner at a stately antebellum mansion.
Day 3 // Atlanta, GA
A unique culinary experience awaits at the luxurious Grand Bohemian Hotel where a local chef will teach us some tricks of the trade and treat our taste buds to an elevated Southern-style lunch. This afternoon, stop into the Southern Museum of Flight and see the exhibits of fascinating mid-century war jets, helicopters, and crop dusters. Next, our adventure takes us to Georgia's capital city this evening. Surrounded by a beautiful countryside, Atlanta mixes Southern charm with the excitement of a big city.
Day 4 // Charleston, SC
Next stop is Charleston. We'll do a bit of driving to cross over into South Carolina. Then you can spend some free time wandering the cobblestone streets of Charleston's City Market this evening.
Day 5 // Myrtle Beach, SC
Make your way back to old town Charleston where we hop aboard a horse drawn carriage for a narrated tour. Experience the historic district while learning about the architecture and the people who make the "Holy City" a Southern gem. Built in the early 1700s, Hopsewee Plantation is a historic marvel to behold, situated on a low-country rice plantation and still host to its original furnishings. While here, we'll have a delicious lunch. The charming coastal town of Myrtle Beach welcomes us for a two-night stay at an oceanfront resort. Experience the Christmas cheer at the famous Carolina Opry Theater that is transformed into a winter wonderland with over 35 Christmas trees, mounds of snow and 25,000 twinkling lights.
Day 6 // Myrtle Beach, SC
The morning is yours to enjoy the amenities at the resort or shop at one of Myrtle Beach's famous shopping districts. Climb aboard The Explorer for a tranquil Eco Tour of Murrells Inlet. See live demonstrations and enjoy a walkabout on a local beach to search for treasures and shells. Lastly, after a tasty dinner, experience one of the most beloved holiday events in the Southeast, Nights of a Thousand Candles. See Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of holiday music, and celebrate the season elegantly in South Carolina!
Day 7 // Asheville, NC
Absorb the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountain region, with a visit to a charming village located in the heart of North Carolina to visit a local apple-grower. Indulge in a festive dinner on the Biltmore grounds before an exclusive Candlelight Tour at Biltmore Estate. The timeless beauty of America's largest home is a true wonder of architecture and hospitality.
Day 8 // Nashville, TN
Nestled in the picturesque town of Pigeon Forge, The Incredible Christmas Place is more than just a store – it's a festive wonderland where the spirit of Christmas thrives all year round. As the premier Christmas shopping destination in the South, and one of the most beloved in the entire country, this store is a haven for all who cherish the yuletide season. Then tonight, experience Nashville aboard the General Jackson Showboat for their Evening Cruise production of Music City Christmas!
Day 9 // Little Rock, AR
Experience holiday magic at the Marlsgate Plantation for a tour of the gardens, home and a delicious Christmas dinner.
