Itinerary

This awe-inspiring tour of one of the world’s most impressive natural forces will leave you breathless. Also explore the history of Ohio, Old Fort Niagara, and the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park on this thrilling adventure.

Day 1 // O’Fallon, IL

We begin the journey east, with our first stop in Illinois.

Day 2 // Findlay, OH

We continue east, breaking for a group lunch in Indianapolis before an out-of-this-world stop at the Armstrong Air & Space Museum — designed to resemble a futuristic moon base and built to honor Neil Armstrong and Ohio’s astronauts.

Day 3 // Niagara Falls, ON

We cruise “Motor City” on a Detroit city tour before crossing into Ontario. Tonight brings a special treat: the majestic Niagara Falls illuminated after dark.

Day 4 // Niagara Falls, ON

Today is all about the Falls. A step-on guided tour covers the Ontario side, then we descend 125 feet into 130-year-old tunnels Behind the Falls for a close (and misty!) view from the base of this 13-story wonder. A short Voyage to the Falls boat cruise brings us face-to-face with the thundering Horseshoe Falls. Dinner tonight is 775 feet up, in Skylon Tower’s revolving dining room.

Day 5 // Lockport, NY

We step back in time at Old Fort Niagara, walking among original 18th-century buildings overlooking the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Tonight we board a ship for dinner and a cruise along the historic Lockport Locks & Erie Canal.

Day 6 // Orange Village, OH

We tour the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, the largest inland naval park in the country, home to four decommissioned Naval vessels. Some time for shopping follows before we turn toward home.

Day 7 // Indianapolis, IN

We explore the gardens and art collections at Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, then enjoy dinner and a show at the lively “Beef and Boards” dinner theatre.

Day 8 // St. Louis, MO

Cameras ready — we stop in Casey, Illinois for a guided tour of the World’s Largest Things, including the world’s largest rocking chair, wind chime, and teeter-totter, before continuing to Missouri for the night.

Day 9 // Home

We complete our journey west, arriving home with countless memories and stories to share.
