Itinerary

Watch hundreds of balloons take to the skies during the world's largest hot-air balloon fiesta! Get up close and personal with the balloons, learn about the rich native american culture, and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Albuquerque!

Day 1 // Amarillo, TX

It's time to begin our colorful adventure. While the “Land of Enchantment” is on the horizon, our first stop is Amarillo, TX. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 2 // Albuquerque, NM

Your journey continues as we head to Albuquerque. Upon arrival, visit the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, where interactive exhibits, historic aircraft, and stunning balloon displays bring the science, history, and artistry of ballooning to life, setting the stage for the unforgettable spectacle ahead. After our museum visit, we'll check in to our hotel for a two-night stay in Albuquerque, giving you time to relax and prepare for the vibrant sights and excitement of the Balloon Fiesta.

Day 3 // Albuquerque, NM

We will be up early this morning for our first morning at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. This morning, witness hundreds of prismatic balloons lift off and fill the horizon. This makes for a truly oneof-a-kind photo op! Pilots compete in various skills tests and show off the amazing precision and knowledge it takes to take the helm of one of these aircraft. This afternoon we are joined by a local guide who will take us on a city tour of Albuquerque. Enjoy some free time in Old Town before heading back to the hotel for the night.

Day 4 // Amarillo, TX

After a good night's sleep we return early to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta field for our second opportunity to see the sky filled with wonderful shapes and colors. Walk through the launch field and talk with pilots and their crews. It's not hard to see why this event draws so many people, from full time balloon chasers to first time spectators. We have to start for home, but not before visiting the Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian. Here we are not only treated to dinner, but we will learn a great deal from the beautiful museum, designed to preserve and share the Kwahadi culture.

Day 5 // Home

Sadly, our fiesta is over, but the sights, sounds, and even tastes of the “Land of Enchantment” will linger
