What a Sleeper Charter Bus Is Really Like
Three seats to a row rather than four is the whole idea. Take one seat out of every row across a full-size coach and the remaining seats get significantly wider. Add a footrest and an armrest for everyone, and eight inches more recline than a standard coach seat, and you get a seat you can actually rest in.
Most groups book this coach for an overnight drive. So you leave in the evening, people sleep on the way, and you arrive in the morning without paying for a hotel night or losing a day to travel. In practice, that trade is what makes the trip work at all.
Leather headrests keep things clean between groups. There is a cordless microphone, a Bluetooth stereo, and 110-volt and USB power at every seat. The restroom sits at the rear, and Wi-Fi is available on select coaches.
Reading lights and DVD monitors are on board too, though on an overnight run most groups use neither.

That is the reason this coach exists. The older style of sleeper bus put passengers in berths with no seatbelts. Getting every traveller into a seatbelted seat mattered more to us than a flat bed did, so we replaced the whole style rather than run both.

Your Driver Works for Us
Your driver works for Village Travel. Drivers are trained, drug tested and tracked under our USDOT safety record, and we run under federal passenger carrier safety rules. We belong to the United Motorcoach Association, the American Bus Association and the International Motorcoach Group.
Village Travel also employs its own mechanics and maintenance staff. Every coach runs the same inspection schedule, and a coach that does not pass does not go out. On an overnight run that matters more than it does on an afternoon trip.
Reserve Early, Because There Are Not Many
We run a limited number of Executive Sleepers, so they book out well before the rest of the fleet does. Spring and autumn team travel goes first.
If your dates are set, ask now rather than later. But if your dates are flexible, tell us and we will find the window where a Sleeper is actually open, which is usually a better answer than forcing the date and settling for a different coach.
Luggage and Gear on a 33 Passenger Coach
Luggage space depends on the length of the coach rather than the class of it. A longer coach carries more under-carriage bays and more overhead storage; a shorter one naturally carries less.
The Executive Sleeper is a full-size coach, so the bays are comparable to a Standard or Deluxe motorcoach while carrying 33 passengers instead of 56. For a team travelling with equipment, that difference is the point.

Executive Sleeper or Executive Recliner
These are the two premium coaches in the fleet, and the choice is about how far the seats go back rather than how they look.
- Executive Sleeper: 33 seats, three to a row, the widest in the fleet, eight inches more recline. For overnight travel.
- Executive Recliner: 40 seats with leg rests and four inches more recline, plus changeable interior lighting. For daytime premium travel.
- Deluxe motorcoach: 52 to 56 seats, under 10 years old, upgraded finishes. For a full-size group.
- Standard motorcoach: 56 seats and the most economical way to move a full group.
A Simple Way to Decide
If people need to sleep on the coach, then book the Sleeper, and book it early. Otherwise, if the trip runs in daylight and you want seven more seats, book the Executive Recliner. Either way, both carry the same power, audio and restroom.

Do Executive Sleeper coaches have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available on select coaches. Not every coach in the fleet carries it, in any coach class, so if your group needs to be online during the trip, tell us when you book and we will confirm what your assigned coach has.
How far ahead should we book an Executive Sleeper?
As early as you can. We run a limited number of them and they go before the rest of the fleet, especially through spring and autumn team travel. If your dates are flexible, say so and we will find a window where one is open.
