Itinerary

Day 1 // Westminster, CO
Our great Canadian adventure is underway! We head west to Colorado for our first overnight.
Day 2 // Buffalo, WY
We’ll take a break from today’s drive day to enjoy a self-guided tour of the Cheyenne Depot Museum. Learn about the founding of Cheyenne and its significance along the trans-continental railroad! Then grab some lunch before we hit the road again.
Day 3 // Helena, MT
The Battle of Little Bighorn shaped our nation’s western frontier. Today, explore the site of Custer’s Last Stand, and see where two strong adversaries and their loyal followers battled to the end.
Day 4 // Kalispell, MT
Nestled half way between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks sits the Gates of the Mountains. Board a tour boat and experience the towering limestone cliffs and extraordinary scenery of the Missouri River. Pause for lunch in a scenic spot.
Day 5 // Kalispell, MT
Glacier National Park is so impressive that it spans two countries, carrying two different names. Experience stunning scenery on the park’s famous Red Bus Tour. The roll-back top reveals unparalleled views of alpine meadows leading to rugged snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and stunning mountain views.
Day 6 // Calgary, AB
Today, we’ll make our way into Canada, arriving in time to see hooves fly and wagon wheels rumble at opening festivities of the Calgary Stampede Rodeo. Tonight we’ll take our seats for the thrilling chuckwagon races. This tradition has been providing rodeo fans with heart-punding excitement for 90-years!
Day 7 // Canmore, AB
Start the day with a morning visit to the Heritage Park Historical Village. Covering over 127 acres it is the perfect balance between Western Canada history, adventure, and fun. Then saddle up for some ground-shaking action this afternoon! The Calgary Stampede Rodeo features cowboys and cowgirls facing off in furious displays of skill and grit. Travel along the Canadian Rockies as we drive to Canmore, our home for the next two nights.
Day 8 // Canmore, AB
Drive through the breathtaking landscapes of Banff National Park as we make our way to Banff. Surrounded by towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies, the town sits in one of the most scenic valleys in the world. Upon arrival, we ascend via the Sulphur Mountain Gondola to one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Rockies. From the summit, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of six surrounding mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the town of Banff far below. At 6,850 feet, the scenery stretches endlessly in every direction.
Day 9 // Jasper, AB
Today we will venture out for a guided tour of the mesmerizing beauty of the expansive Columbia Icefields in Jasper National Park. Then warm up and stay the night in the beautiful mountain resort town of Jasper.
Day 10 // Kamloops, BC
Cruise the glacial waters of Maligne Lake on a 90-minute cruise. Declared the “Best Boat Cruise in Canada” this is an experience like no other. Our panoramic tour takes us across the crystal waters, fed by the glaciers of Jasper National Park. Glide past the jagged mountain peaks as we cruise to Spirit Island, a destination only accessible by boat. Experience the Rockies from a fascinating perspective as the snowy peaks of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains surround us with extraordinary scenery as we cross into British Columbia.
Day 11 // Vancouver, BC
Travel above the roaring force of water rushing through Fraser Canyon aboard the Hell’s Gate Airtram. As the fully suspended gondola passes over the most treacherous section of the Fraser River, nature’s power is frightfully apparent during this exhilarating ride. Arrive in Vancouver just in time for dinner.
Day 12 // Vancouver, BC
Board a ferry to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. Today, we’ll lose ourselves in the abundance of color at Butchart Gardens. With 55-acres of vivid floral displays, a visit to one of the world’s premier floral landscapes is a treat for the senses.
Day 13 // Home
Board a flight home after a larger-than-life encounter with dynamic characters and Canadian Rockies adventure.
