Grapevine Planes & Trains

Tour Overview

We begin at Grapevine Main Station, riding up the Grapevine Main Observation Tower for a bird’s-eye view of the runways of DFW International Airport. A step-on guide leads us through Peace Plaza, pausing for a photo with the larger-than-life mural of Puffy, Grapevine’s 1896 steam engine, and a tour of the Cotton Belt Train Depot. From there, all aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad for a scenic excursion through the heart of town. Our tour ends with Lunch at Tolbert’s Restaurant and Chili Parlor and free time to explore Downtown Grapevine before heading home.

Some tour days are longer than others but move at a consistent pace. Passengers should be able to easily climb a flight of stairs, stand for short periods of time and walk for reasonable distances, possibly over uneven terrain (cobblestones, gravel, etc).
