Tour Overview
Get a taste of Ree Drummond’s world in the heart of Osage County, where the blogger-turned-Food Network star has put the prairie town of Pawhuska on the map. We browse The Mercantile, known as “The Merc,” for home goods, fresh-baked pastries and coffee, then sit down to an included lunch at the Pioneer Woman Event Center. This afternoon we continue to Ponca City and the Pioneer Woman Museum, named for a different pioneer woman altogether. Its bronze statue has honored Oklahoma’s frontier women since 1930. An entertaining tour of “Ponca City Dirt” closes the day with a look at the history of the area.

Some tour days are longer than others but move at a consistent pace. Passengers should be able to easily climb a flight of stairs, stand for short periods of time and walk for reasonable distances, possibly over uneven terrain (cobblestones, gravel, etc).
