Itinerary
Board Carnival Breeze for a Southern Caribbean escape spanning five islands, from Grand Cayman’s turquoise shallows to the Dutch colonial color of Curaçao and the sun-drenched beaches of Montego Bay.
Day 1 // Conroe, TX
Let the adventure begin! This morning, we settle in aboard our deluxe Village Travel motorcoach as we make our way toward the Gulf Coast.
Day 2 // Set Sail
The excitement begins as we board Carnival Breeze. Get settled into your stateroom and start exploring all the ship has to offer. With incredible dining, lively entertainment, pools, activities, and plenty of places to relax, your cruise adventure is officially underway!
Day 3 // At Sea
Carnival Breeze becomes our floating home for two full days at sea. Sample Italian fare at Cucina del Capitano, grab a burger designed by celebrity chef Guy Fieri at Guy’s Burger Joint, or cool off on the 320-foot Twister Waterslide at Carnival WaterWorks. Adults can retreat to the Serenity retreat, while everyone regroups later for a show at Punchliner Comedy Club.
Day 4 // At Sea
Carnival Breeze becomes our floating home for two full days at sea. Sample Italian fare at Cucina del Capitano, grab a burger designed by celebrity chef Guy Fieri at Guy’s Burger Joint, or cool off on the 320-foot Twister Waterslide at Carnival WaterWorks. Adults can retreat to the Serenity retreat, while everyone regroups later for a show at Punchliner Comedy Club.
Day 5 // Grand Cayman, Cayman Island
We dock this morning off George Town on Grand Cayman, the largest of the Cayman Islands. Perhaps join an excursion out to Stingray City, the North Sound sandbar where wild southern stingrays have gathered since local fishermen once cleaned their catch here, or spend the day along the powder-white sand of Seven Mile Beach.
Day 6 // At Sea
A second day at sea gives us more time to enjoy Carnival Breeze’s amenities. Perhaps a visit to Cloud 9 Spa for a bit of pampering, a round of trivia, or an evening at Liquid Nightclub. Onboard dining ranges from Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse’s premium cuts to a classic slice at Pizza Pirate.
Day 7 // Aruba
Aruba welcomes us with turquoise water and a landscape unlike any other island on our cruise. Perhaps explore Arikok National Park, where the island’s famous divi-divi trees bend permanently southwest under the constant trade winds, or spend the afternoon relaxing on Eagle Beach beneath their windswept silhouettes.
Day 8 // Bonaire
Bonaire’s entire coastline has been a protected marine park since 1979, one of the first in the world, making these waters some of the clearest in the Caribbean. Perhaps snorkel straight from shore, or head to the southern salt flats, where thousands of flamingos gather at the Pekelmeer sanctuary.
Day 9 // Curaçao
Willemstad’s candy-colored waterfront greets us in Curaçao, a UNESCO World Heritage city since 1997 where Dutch colonial architecture lines the harbor. Perhaps stroll the Punda district and cross the Queen Emma pontoon bridge, nicknamed the “Swinging Old Lady,” or spend the afternoon along one of the island’s quiet coves.
Day 10 // At Sea
Back at sea, we settle into the rhythm of shipboard life. Perhaps sample lunch at Bonsai Sushi, or catch a set at Alchemy Bar before the evening’s lineup at Playlist Productions.
Day 11 // Montego Bay, Jamaica
Reggae’s spiritual home welcomes us to Montego Bay. Perhaps tour Rose Hall Great House, the 1770s Georgian plantation mansion tied to the legend of the “White Witch” Annie Palmer, said to still walk its halls, or spend the afternoon in the calm water at Doctor’s Cave Beach.
Day 12 // At Sea
Our final two days at sea are for savoring it all — a last treat from the Carnival Deli, one more lap of the pool deck, or a nightcap at RedFrog Rum Bar as we watch the horizon for our return to Galveston.
