Itinerary
Day 1 // Seattle, WA
Our Alaskan adventure begins with a flight to Seattle for a one-night stay before tomorrow’s sailing.
Day 2 // Set Sail
A Seattle City Tour this morning visits the city’s iconic landmarks. This afternoon we board Carnival Spirit and sail through Puget Sound. Once aboard, meals and entertainment are complimentary.
Day 3 // At Sea
Cruise the Inside Passage aboard Carnival Spirit, watching for whales, seals, and eagles among towering forests and fjords. Between sightings, enjoy the spa, live shows, and fine dining.
Day 4 // Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord
Watch for eagles from the deck or relax indoors with views all around as we sail south aboard Carnival Spirit.
Day 5 // Skagway, AK
Thousands of stampeders passed through Skagway during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897–98, and its preserved downtown still tells their story. You may wish to ride the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, begun in 1898.
Day 6 // Juneau, AK
Juneau is the only U.S. state capital that can’t be reached by road. Perhaps visit Mendenhall Glacier, take a whale-watching cruise or go flightseeing over the icefields.
Day 7 // Ketchikan, AK
Clutching the shores of Tongass Narrows, much of the historic town of
Ketchikan is built on trestles, docks and pilings right at the water’s edge.
Day 8 // Victoria, BC
An evening port call allows a few hours in British Columbia’s capital. Perhaps stroll the Inner Harbour, where the Parliament Buildings, opened in 1898, glow with lights after dark, or visit Fisherman’s Wharf.
Day 9 // Home
The adventure to scenic Alaska ends in Seattle where we will disembark the cruise ship and board a return flight home.
